The City of Greenville Community Development Department – Housing Division announces Check It Out (Part 2), the next class in a Financial Literacy Series based on the FDIC Money Smart Program.
The Check It Out (Part 2) class continues where Part 1 ended and focuses more on how to use and manage a checking account. Participants will learn how to list four types of electronic banking services, discuss how debit cards are linked to checking accounts, review recording fees and transactions in a check register, reconcile a check register with a bank statement, as well as examine overdraft fees and how they affect your checking account.
The class is free and will be held at Sheppard Memorial Library, 530 Evans Street (Room B), from 5:30PM – 7:30PM on Monday, April 10, 2017.
