Parking restrictions are necessary to properly manage and maximize public benefit from the City's on-street parking resources. Health and Safety is the primary goal of all parking restrictions. Restrictions also support the diverse needs of the City's on-street parking users and stakeholders. Parking citations are issued to improve compliance with these restrictions. Without parking citations, these restrictions would frequently be ignored. For more information, view the Parking Citations/Tickets FAQs.
A web application is now available that provides the current status of parking citations. The information available comes directly from our parking citation database in real-time to ensure accuracy. With this website you can view the current amount due, verify that your appeal has been received, check the status of your appeal, and view any associated photos that may have been taken at the time of issuance. Our new citation status web application can be found at https://www.tocite.net/greenvillenc/searchticket/index/parkingtickets.
To pay a parking citation, your parking citation number is required. If you do not have the citation number, provide the license plate number and state for the vehicle cited.
