Planning and Zoning Commission Virtual Meeting (Click for details)

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Greenville will hold a public hearing during a virtual meeting on April 21, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., in order to consider the adoption of the following:

1) A request by Rocky Russell Development, LLC for a preliminary plat entitled, “Barrington Fields, Sections 2, 3 and 4”, located along the western right-of-way of Frog Level Road and adjacent to Taberna Subdivision and is further identified as being tax parcel numbers 22728, 32631, 68998. The proposed plat consists of 40 lots totaling 19.1252+/- acres. 

2) A request by YBYA,LLC for a preliminary plat entitled, “Ridgewood Farms (Cluster Subdivision)”, located on the north side of Thomas Langston Road directly adjacent to the Langston Townhomes Subdivision and is further identified as being tax parcel numbers 05383, 13364 and 13877.  The proposed plat consists of 122 lots and totals 28.99 acres.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will be meeting remotely. Pursuant to the Mayor's Emergency Proclamation, the public will have the ability to address the Commission during Public Hearings by remote access.

A Public Hearing, not to exceed 30 minutes for each side, may be held, if such matter is on the agenda. Those that wish to address the Planning and Zoning Commission during a Public Hearing, should call the City Clerk at (252) 329-4422 to register by Monday, April 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Registered participants will be given an access code and instructions on how to speak at the electronic meeting. Callers will be held in queue and asked to mute their phones or speakers until they are called on to speak. Speakers will be called in the order that they are registered. Individual comments are limited to three minutes. If a person participating remotely willfully disrupts the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, then upon direction by the Chair, the person may be removed from electronic participation, or his or her e-mail may not be read. Comments read by the Clerk are subject to the time limits set by the Public Hearing procedures.

On the basis of objections, debate, and discussion at the hearings, changes may be made from what has been proposed. Persons having interest in these matters and desiring to speak either for or against the proposed ordinances are invited to be present and will be given an opportunity to be heard. A copy of maps, plans, and ordinances are on file at the City Clerk’s Office located at 200 West Fifth Street and are available for public inspection during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
