Due to COVID-19, the annual award ceremony and reception has been cancelled for February 2021!

The Human Relations Council exists to promote understanding and enhanced human relations between all people in Greenville through education, advocacy, communication, and initiation of actions that foster the recognition of and appreciation for the diversity of our great city.

Every day, and in many ways, Greenville citizens donate their talents, energy and time in service. These citizens vary in age, gender, income, education, race, and ethnicity but they all share one thing in common - they seek to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods and communities.

The awards ceremony is an opportunity to recognize and honor those individuals, organizations, and businesses that provide services which strengthen our communities and improve the lives of others.

In addition to your being invited to this event, we ask and encourage you to submit your nomination(s). A description of the awards is listed here.

For more information please contact the Human Relations Office at 252.329.4494 or via e-mail.
