Center for Family Prevention 

The Center for Family Prevention is a non-profit agency located throughout Pitt, Martin and Washington County. Through funded grants they provide assets and services to families and victims of domestic violence with a mission to break the cycle of domestic violence while promoting healthy family relations and enhancing individual self-sufficiency in our community.

Pitt County Courthouse

Through two divisions including criminal and civil divisions. The Clerk of Courts office provides criminal record copies and checking records and resources of other legal matters. 

 

Council on Aging

By improving the quality of life for older adults in Greenville, the Council on Aging Center is focused on providing healthy living and independence through advocacy, services and life enrichment activities from individuals, senior citizen groups, and other organizations.

Real Crisis

The Real Crisis Center of Greenville is an organization that provides no charge and immediate long term crisis relief with follow-up support. Crises can come in all shapes and sizes. Real Crisis wants what is best for you, regardless of your situation, and will help provide resources to reclaim comfort and confidence in your life.

Legal Aid Of NC

No matter your everyday background, including but not limited to victims of violence, families battling homelessness, consumer protection, etc. The advocates of Legal Aid help thousands each day gain the justice they deserve by providing life changing benefits. They are here to remove legal barriers to economic opportunity for every vulnerable NC citizen.

Greenville Police Department

The Police Department of Greenville NC’s goal is to create strong and healthy relationships while establishing trust in and out of our community. GPD provides services for crime prevention, victim advocates, and more.

Tedi Bear

As the largest advocacy center in North Carolina, the Tedi Bear Children’s Advocacy Clinic (Tender Evaluation, Diagnosis and Intervention for a Better Abuse Response) provides services to children up to the age of 18 including assessments, education, treatment and prevention. Services are geared toward those who come from child abuse or neglect situations.

Pitt County Department of Social Services

Includes three areas of programs: Maintenance Programs, Social Work Programs and Prevention Services. The Department of Social Services help any county residents who meet eligible criteria by providing financial assistance and human services. Their purpose is to improve our communities' standard of living, help individuals become self-sufficient and provide services to help keep families intact.

My Sister's Closet 

My Sisters’s Closet started as an upscale women’s resale store more than 20 years ago. It serves as a closet for the Center for Family Violence Prevention and generates funds for services, programs and assistance for victims in these situations.
