- Go to www.governmentjobs.com. Click on the "Career Seekers" tab and then enter your username and password (same username and password you used when creating the City of Greenville online application). Click on the "Application Status" tab to view the status of your application.
- Changes can be made to your application at anytime before it is submitted. Once you submit an application for a particular position, you cannot go back and make changes to the submitted application. If you make changes and submit another application before the position closes, we will only consider your most recent application. No application is submitted until you click on the "Accept" button. If at any time you do not want to submit your application, save your work, then logout.

- All information is on a secure web server. Only the Human Resources Department and other City department users authorized to review specific job openings will have access.
- You must click "Save" to retain the information you have entered. If you close your browser prior to clicking "Save", you will lose any information you entered after the last time you clicked "Save". If at any time you need to exit out of the application form, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the form. You can return to your application later by logging into your account with your Username and Password.

- Computers are available in the Human Resources Department, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We are located on the 1st floor of City Hall at 200 West Fifth Street, Greenville, NC. You may also use the public computers located in many public libraries. Family and friends may also have Internet access available for you to use.

Does the City of Greenville also accept applications for vacancies at East Carolina University, Pitt County Government, or other government agencies?
No. The City of Greenville is a separate organization and accepts applications only for City of Greenville vacancies.- Applications are accepted only for jobs that are currently being advertised.
