Notice of Public Comment Period for the Draft 2025–2026 Fiscal Year Annual Action Plan

Pursuant to the National Affordable Housing Act, the City of Greenville is holding a public comment period from June 28, 2025, to August 11, 2025, to receive feedback on the 2025–2026 Annual Action Plan.

Three public meetings were conducted to gather community and stakeholder input:

  • The first meeting was held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. during the Affordable Housing Loan Committee meeting in City Council Chambers at 200 West Fifth Street.

  • The second meeting was held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. by remote (electronic) means.

  • The final meeting took place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Eppes Recreation Center.

These meetings and the comment period aimed to gather input on the allocation of resources and funds provided through the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

A public hearing will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, during the 6:00 p.m. City Council Meeting at 200 W. Fifth Street.
