Pitt County and the City of Greenville will soon hold public information sessions to share details about a proposed Megasite Industrial Park in the northern portion of Pitt County.

A megasite is a parcel of 1,000 acres or more that is viable for industrial development. Pitt County’s site is one of seven in the state that have been identified as potential megasites in North Carolina. A megasite could benefit the community by attracting major companies and investments, creating jobs, and stimulating economic growth.

Join Pitt County and City of Greenville staff for one of the public information sessions to learn more about a potentially transformative project.

Below is a list of the upcoming public information sessions.

  • Monday, March 31, 6:00 p.m., Pitt County Agricultural Center, 403 Government Circle, Greenville
  • Thursday, April 3, 6:00 p.m., Ayden Middle School, 192 West Third Street, Ayden
  • Tuesday, April 8, 6:00 p.m., Wellcome Middle School, 3101 North Memorial Drive, Greenville
  • Thursday, April 17, 6:00 p.m., Virtual (ZOOM)
