Greenville Recreation & Parks Department is committed to offering qualityathletic programs to area youth in which everyone gets the opportunity to have fun while learning and participating in sports. We are able to make such a commitment to all of our program participants because of the time and effort of volunteer coaches. Volunteer coaches are an important component to the success of our programs. These individuals demonstrate a selfless concern for the community as evidenced by their willingness to give their time to help area youth.

The Greenville Recreation & Parks Department offers youth athletic leagues (soccer, flag football, basketball, baseball and t-ball) throughout the year. Soccer is played in the fall (September – November) and spring (March – May); flag football is played in the fall (September – November); basketball is played in the winter (December – February); baseball and t-ball are played in the spring/summer (April – June).

We strive to provide a safe and healthy environment for Greenville area youth. Therefore, before a potential coach is permitted to participate in any of our youth leagues, he/she is required to annually complete and submit a background check consent form as well as a volunteer services agreement.
