The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department provides recreational opportunities for people with physical or developmental disabilities in Greenville and Pitt County. A major component of this is the Pitt County Special Olympics Program. This program provides year-round training and competition for citizens of Pitt County with intellectual or physical disabilities. Community service organization for adults with developmental disabilities
Location: Pitt Community Schools & Recreation Building, 4561 County Home Road
Ages: 18 & up
Days, times & Dates: 1st Thursday of each month 6:00-7:15 pm (subject to change according to that month’s activity)

Adaptive Pickleball Clinic
This pickleball clinic for youth and adults with development disabilities is a social, non-competitive experience where participants will learn the game of pickleball. This clinic will be held in the Sports Connection gymnasium.
