The City of Greenville's Office of Economic Development has launched a site ready loan program. This program is seeking land owners interested in preparing land for industrial and commercial development. This site ready program will prepare sites to be shovel or development ready by providing a low interest loan for predevelopment soft costs.    

The loan repayment does not start for up to 5 years after loan closing. Eligible sites shall be located within the City-limits or eligible for annexation, and have a non-residential classification. The loan can be used for soft costs such as a boundary survey, preliminary building plan, phase 1 environmental, and wetlands study. Construction hard costs are not loan eligible.
