The City of Greenville’s Spring Clean Up is sponsored by the City of Greenville. This project encourages groups and individuals to volunteer to clean up public rights-of-way. Private property owners are also encouraged to make an extra effort in cleaning their properties.

General Information

This year's Spring Clean Up will be held April 22-29, 2023. Call (252) 329-4522 for Public Works to pick up your items placed at the curb during Spring Clean Up. Remember to place items at the curb, not in the street.

Spring Clean Up is the one time of year when the City of Greenville will collect car batteries and tires. For a more comprehensive list of items that the City will and will not collect, see below.
