Portions of River Park North will close temporarily as Progress Energy crews work to prepare for the installation of new power lines and towers on their easement.

Beginning next week, southern portions of the park will close so that crews can clear trees which could potentially fall on power lines. Those areas will reopen when crews are not working. This will clear the way for new towers and power lines which will help meet the needs of our growing community. Tower and line replacement will begin in late September.
