Are you an ECU student with a passion for marketing and a desire to make a real impact in your community? The Match and Market Program is your gateway to gaining practical experience while supporting local small businesses in Greenville.

About the Program

The Match and Market Program connects enthusiastic ECU students like you with small and local businesses that need help with their marketing efforts, particularly on social media platforms. This 10-week initiative, from October 7th to December 13th, offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world setting.

What You'll Do
As a participant, you'll work closely with our Neighborhood and Business Services (NBS) Department to:

• Develop an online marketing plan
• Create social media strategies
• Generate engaging content
• Establish consistent posting schedules
• Enhance the overall online presence of the businesses you are paired with

• Receive a weekly stipend of $75
• Earn a certificate upon completion

How It Works:

• Application: Apply between September 2nd and September 20th through our online form.
• Selection: Selected participants will be notified by September 27th.
• Orientation: Join us on October 1st for our initial meeting and program kickoff.
• Introductory Session: Participant in a fun-filled event on October 3rd where you’ll engage in interactive activities to foster collaborations with your assigned business owner.
• Engagement: Throughout the program, meet weekly goals (that tie into the main deliverables of the program) and participate in check-ins with the Business Development Division.
• Completion: Celebrate your achievements at our ceremony on December 13th, 2024.
