Vertical Mixed Use Public Engagement Meeting

The City of Greenville is holding two public engagement meetings seeking community feedback on allowing vertical mixed use development.  These types of buildings contain a mix of residential and commercial uses.  There will be a meeting on June 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Barnes-Ebron-Taft Community Center located at 120 Park Access Rd. and on June 6, 2024 in the City Hall Gallery Area located at 200 West 5th St. from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. There will be a presentation at both meetings at 6:00PM.  A virtual option is available on June 5, 2024 at 12:00PM.  Please email [email protected] for a link to the virtual meeting or if you have any questions.  You only need to attend one meeting.

In addition, at the June 4th meeting, the City will be seeking public input for the EPA’s Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grant. This grant addresses disadvantaged communities that are marginalized by underinvestment and overburdened by pollution. The City will be submitting an application for projects in north Greenville and would like input on needs related to environmental and climate justice challenges, strengthening climate resilience, and advancing clean energy.
