More than $4.2 million in street improvements in Greenville will be getting underway in the coming months after the City Council approved the work during its meeting tonight.
The 2025 Street Rehabilitation and Preservation Contract includes improvements to 46 total lane miles of City-maintained streets. The work includes rehabilitation (milling and resurfacing, base repair, ADA ramp upgrades, pavement markings) on 5.97 lane miles, micro-surfacing on 5.37 lane miles, and cape sealing, crack sealing, and rejuvenator work on the remaining sections in the contract.
City Council awarded Tripp Brothers, Inc., the contract for $3.947 million while also approving a task order and on-call contract with TranSystems for $274,330.
