This Place Matters: Preserving for the Future is a free event hosted by the Community Development Department. This event will consist of presentations and workshops to engage and educate local contractors, developers, and residents on historic preservation and preservation initiatives in Greenville. Staff and community leaders will lead discussions on how you can be involved in preservation in your community.

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Historic Tax Credits – Holton Wilkerson, Winslow’s Deli (120 W 5th Street), *REGISTRATION REQUIRED*
6 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Preservation; What is it and Why? – City of Greenville Staff, Intergenerational Center (1100 Ward Street)
7 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Maintenance, Repair, and Energy Efficiency – Reid Thomas, NC SHPO, Intergenerational Center (1100 Ward Street)
