A Day to Remember: A Reflection and Commemoration of September 11, 2001 will be held on Sunday, September 11, at 3:00 PM at the Pitt County Courthouse, 100 West Third Street. The purpose of this event is to promote unity, understanding, and to pay tribute to victims, survivors, and their families. The ceremony will include remarks from City and other local officials along with music.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside of the Courthouse.
