The City of Greenville is beginning an initial study that considers the feasibility of a bicycle/pedestrian bridge over the Tar River from Town Common to River Park North. Residents and community members are encouraged to join the City of Greenville and its project team to participate in the planning process.
The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of a bicycle and pedestrian bridge that connects Town Common Park with River Park North. This bridge would be a recreational amenity and gateway that would enhance the two parks, improve access to the river, and vitalize the Downtown/Town Common Park area.
