The Business Plan Competition provides an economic incentive to small business owners and other entrepreneurs to create or expand small businesses within the Center City or West Greenville Redevelopment Areas. Grant awards are typically $15,000, which can be used toward working capital or operating funds, equipment purchases, improvements to owner occupied property, leasehold improvements, expansion of business services or products, or other uses in a business plan.

If you have an idea for locating, relocating, or expanding a business, please attend one of two upcoming info sessions: May 17 at 2 p.m., or May 18 at 2 p.m., at Sheppard Memorial Library, Meeting Room A. The deadline to submit an application for the Summer of 2017 grant cycle is July 1, 2017 (see: Program Guidelines and Application form).
