Join us for one of two public meetings to review the City’s policy and procedure for the conditional sale and/or service, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages at the Town Common. The meetings are being held on Thursday, December 6, and Wednesday, December 12, at 6 p.m. in Third Floor Gallery of City Hall, 200 West Fifth Street.
City management will provide a presentation reviewing what alcohol can be sold at an event at the Town Common and who can lease the Town Common for events with alcohol sales. Currently, malt beverages and wine can be served or sold at a properly sanctioned and permitted Town Common event. Proposed changes would allow spirituous liquor and fortified wine to be served or sold.
