All City of Greenville boards and commissions will return to in-person meetings, beginning on March 1, 2022.
Greenville Mayor P.J. Connelly signed a proclamation on February 25 that terminated the Proclamation of Emergency issued in August of 2021 that required the City's public bodies to conduct remote meetings. As a result, all City-appointed boards will resume meeting in person, beginning with the Environmental Advisory Commission on Thursday, March 3.
The following boards were not subject to the initial Proclamation of Emergency and are exempt from the most recent Proclamation: Housing Authority of the City of Greenville, Greenville Utilities Commission, Pitt-Greenville Airport Authority, Pitt-Greenville Convention & Visitor's Bureau, and the Sheppard Memorial Library Board of Trustees. Those boards will make their own decisions on whether to conduct in-person or remote meetings.
