2013 looks to be a good year for Greenville’s appearance. The Community Appearance Commission (CAC) awarded three local businesses with Community Appearance Awards in January. 

Domino’s Pizza on Charles Boulevard, the Masonic Lodge on Charles Street, and the Wasabi 88 restaurant on Fire Tower Road have all won the awards. Typically, the CAC awards only one per month, but started 2013 with a bang with three awards. Awards in 2012 were given to Sonic (Memorial Dr.), Carolina Ale House, Providence Apartments, La Ribera, Mellow Mushroom, Shoe Crate, Regency Blvd., Olive Garden, U.S. Lawns, The Daily Reflector, and the Drew Steele Center.

The awards are given to local businesses in recognition of their outstanding appearance and landscaping. The Commission then chooses a handful for the annual awards which will be announced later this spring.
